Bet you didn't know that Amit Trivedi and not Vishal-Shekhar was the first choice for Akira?
Buzz is, Amit turned down the offer because he was tied up with Udta Punjab and Manmarziyan.
Confirming the news to SpotboyE, the singer-composer said, " Yes i was offered Akira, but I already had my plate full with a couple of films. Why would you want to take up something if you cannot give your 100 per cent to it?"
Akira stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. The film is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Mouna Guru.
